Dreadnoughts is the name for House Vardamir's line squadron. For the longest time during the early inception of the wing, it was composed solely of Galen who would fly a Vanir almost exclusively.
Artist's Notes: A "dreadnought" was a predominant type of 20th century battleship, coined after the appearance of the HMS Dreadnought in 1906. It had such a huge impact that all battleships built after her were called dreadnoughts.
With the addition of Avocado, another wing member that also exclusively uses a line, the responsibilities of Squadron Commander has been handed over to him.

HVS Starlight Warrior, Galen's Advanced Vanir, and Nose Art detail
Artist's Notes: Galen wanted his ship to have the same coloring as the eponymous ship in the anime Space Battleship Yamato (aka Starblazers) - this color scheme will be carried over to all his other ships. His other request was that the word Starlight was in script. Nose art is Yuki Mori (aka Nova Forrester) from the same anime - a character designed by the famous manga-ka Leiji Matsumoto.

HVS Nyota Uhura, Chanth's Advanced Jotunn, and Nose Art detail
Artist's Notes: Following the pattern set by the Viper (see Strike Markings), but with a slight modification for the nose's slope, Chanth's line ship uses the color palette of Nyota's uniform. Nose art is Nyota Uhura by Dominic Marco (check out his awesomesauce Deviant Art page!).
